I provide therapy online through a secure, confidential video platform. You can join from home or anywhere that is safe and private. I live and work in California, and I’m licensed to work with clients who are located in California at the time of service.

With online therapy, you can access care from the comfort of your own space through my secure, confidential video platform. You can join our sessions from your home, dorm room, parked car, or anywhere that feels safe and private.
Many clients prefer online therapy because there’s no need to travel or find parking. It’s also more accessible for couples, those with chronic illness, and people who are managing tight schedules.
You can be in your own space with your pets, tea, blankets, or whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
-
In many cases, online therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy, and many clients prefer the convenience of working together online.
However, there are some mental health conditions that are better suited to in-person therapy or other treatments. During our consultation, we can discuss whether online therapy is appropriate for you.
-
No, I don’t currently offer in-person sessions.
About Online Therapy
Insurance & Fees
-
For many reasons, I don't take insurance and I am not a Medicare provider. I feel that this is the best way to protect your privacy and reduce restrictions that may limit or interfere with our work.
Some insurance policies may cover a portion of the fees for online therapy from out-of-network providers, but many do not.
-
Review your insurance policy or call your insurance provider to find out what kind of coverage you have. I am out-of-network for all insurance companies, so be sure to ask about your policy’s out-of-network coverage and whether they cover online therapy, also called behavioral health via telehealth.
In some cases, insurance will cover a portion of the fees for out-of-network providers. Many policies have a deductible, a copay, or a limit on the number of sessions per year.
-
Fees for individuals are $225 for each 50 minute session.
Fees for couples or family therapy are $275 for each 75-90 minute session.
I also work on a sliding scale for a limited number of clients based on financial need, so feel free to ask me about this.
-
You will pay the full fee at the end of each session. If you are submitting a claim to your insurance, I can provide a receipt. You can contact your insurance company directly for information about your coverage and how to submit a claim.
