Helping people feel better, stronger, and more connected
I’m here to support you
With more than 15 years of experience as a therapist, I’ve worked with clients facing everything from depression, anxiety, and trauma to complex grief and serious illness.
Before that, I spent many years in technology and marketing, so I have first-hand experience of burnout and the ups and downs of working life.
After several years in the nonprofit world, I’m now in private practice providing therapy to individuals and couples in California.
My goal is to enable clients to see their challenges clearly, treat themselves with compassion, improve their relationships, and create the life they truly want.
What it’s like to work with me
My clients describe me as a good listener—accepting, non-judgemental, and authentic. You don’t need to be afraid to show your dark side.
Connecting with you is an important part of the process, so I’m engaged in the work we do together and committed to understanding your point of view.
I love to use expressive arts when it’s fitting. It’s always about process more than product. Sometimes painting, drawing, moving, playing can be other ways to explore what’s going on - when words aren’t getting you there.
We work at a pace that’s comfortable for you. I may encourage you to look deeper, but I’m not going to push you anywhere you don’t want to go. As you’re opening up and becoming more vulnerable, I want you to feel safe.
