Client Privacy & Confidentiality

If you begin therapy with me, I do everything I can to ensure your personal and health information are protected. I maintain secure, confidential records and will not release information about you without your written permission, except in specific situations required or permitted by law. These include:

  • If there is reason to believe you may seriously harm yourself or someone else

  • If I suspect child, elder, or dependent adult abuse or neglect

  • If records are ordered by a court of law

    In such cases, I share only the information necessary to protect safety or meet legal obligations.

Your Rights as a Client

You have the right to:

  • Request to see or receive a copy of your records

  • Ask for corrections to your records

  • Ask how your information has been shared

  • Receive a copy of my full Privacy Practices at any time
    If you would like a copy of my Privacy Practices or have questions, please ask. I’m happy to provide it and explain it in plain language.
